報告摘要：
Pulsar wind nebulae (PWNe) are powerful sources of non-thermal X-ray radiation, which is intrinsically polarized due to synchrotron emission. The magnetic field strength and structure in these sources play a crucial role in shaping their dynamics, energetics and evolution, as well as in accelerating particles to very high energies. X-ray polarimetry can provide unique insights into understanding the local orientation and degree of order of the magnetic field, as well as the distribution and spectrum of the emitting particles. In this talk, I will review the current status and future prospects of X-ray polarimetry applied to extended source PWN, with a focus on the Imaging X-ray Polarimetry Explorer (IXPE) mission, which is a NASA/ASI explorer launched in December 2021.

謝斐，2016年獲得中國科學院高能物理研究所博士學位；2016-2018年在瑞典皇家理工學院（KTH）從事博士后研究；2018-2021年在意大利國家天體物理研究所（IAPS/INAF）從事博士后研究。2021年10月入職廣西大學，教授，博士生導師。主要從事空間X射線偏振探測技術和觀測科學研究，研究領域主要是脈沖星風云和X射線雙星；2022年主持完成Vela脈沖星風云的高能偏振特性研究，并在Nature發(fā)表。
