報(bào)告摘要:
Field space geometry has been fruitful in understanding many aspects of EFT, including basis-independent criteria for distinguishing HEFT vs. SMEFT, derivation of renormalization group equations and geometric soft theorem. We incorporate field space geometry in functional matching. A modified covariant derivative expansion method is proposed to calculate the functional traces while accommodating the covariance of the light subspace geometry. We apply this formalism to the non-linear sigma model and reproduce the effective theory more efficiently compared to other matching methods. A geometric universal one-loop effective action is also derived using geometrized EFT matching method.

黎旭翔,2018年和2023年分別于北京大學(xué)物理學(xué)院獲得理學(xué)學(xué)士和博士學(xué)位,現(xiàn)為猶他大學(xué)博士后研究員。研究方向?yàn)闃?biāo)準(zhǔn)模型有效場(chǎng)論和電弱重子生成。
