　　We will introduce theinterest for Compton scattering as radiationsources but also as a diagnostic tool for high energy accelerators. We will cover few recent results and prospects for improvements on both aspects.

　　AurélienMartens is a researcher in the group ILE (Electron-Laser interactions)accelerator pole ofIJCLab, Francesince 2013. He is contributing to severalrelated R&D projects coveringvery high-power enhancement optical cavities and high energy electron beampolarimetry with Compton scatteringformajor particle physics projects as Belle II at theSuperKEKBcollider and FCC-ee.
